Our client is seeking a Product Owner to join its growing Product team. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into clear product requirements, manage and prioritize the product backlog, and support the delivery of high-quality solutions.
This role combines Product Ownership, Business Analysis, and Agile delivery coordination, playing a key role in driving product improvements and supporting the evolution of an innovative technology platform.

Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the product backlog and determine priorities, ensuring that these remain aligned with customer requirements and overall business objectives.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements to support efficient development and high-quality product delivery.
- Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and the product and development teams to convert business challenges into appropriate product solutions.
- Support Agile delivery by contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and continuous improvement activities, while helping the team maintain its delivery velocity.
- Track product and delivery performance through analytics and reporting, using data to guide prioritisation and product-related decisions.
- Ensure that development activities are clearly defined, accurately documented, and focused on delivering measurable business value.
Requirements
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, or in a similar position.
- Strong skills in product backlog management and prioritisation.
- Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience preparing user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
- Ability to convert business requirements into clear and actionable development tasks.
- Experience collaborating closely with software development teams and stakeholders.
- Experience reviewing delivered functionality to confirm that it meets business requirements and defined acceptance criteria.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Experience using reports, dashboards, and data to support decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Product Owner or Scrum-related certifications, such as CSPO, PSPO, Scrum Master, or equivalent.
- Experience coordinating user acceptance testing and supporting quality assurance activities throughout the product lifecycle.
- Familiarity with maritime/shipping, port cost management, invoicing, budgeting, or operational workflows.
- Experience working with financial data, analytics, and business intelligence tools.
- Understanding of SaaS product metrics and software development lifecycles.
- Previous experience with low-code development platforms will be considered a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
