Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Finance Manager.

Main duties:
- Ensure the smooth operation of the finance and accounting functions.
- Review and guide the accounting team so transactions are recorded accurately and on time under local rules and standards.
- Manage financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance and profitability and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Review tax returns, VAT filings and other statutory reports for timely completion.
- Support external audits, address audit requirements and resolve issues.
- Maintain working relationships with auditors, banks and other external partners.
- Report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or another relevant subject.
- Full ACCA or ACA membership is encouraged and will be an advantage.
- At least five years of accounting and/or audit experience.
- Construction or real-estate sector experience is a significant advantage.
- Working knowledge of Cyprus tax and VAT legislation.
- Strong Microsoft Office and accounting-software skills.
- Excellent English.
- Strong organisation, motivation and deadline management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
