Job Position:Sports Hub Manager
Job Summary:
The Sports Hub Manager oversees the operations and overall development of the Sports Hub, including administration and financial reporting for tennis, padel, football, and basketball. The role ensures correct programming, optimization of coaching resources, strong coordination with partners, and a high-quality guest experience across all sports. The Sports Hub Manager works closely with the Sports Operations Manager to maintain unified standards and a consistent service approach.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Sales and Revenue Growth
⁃Generate ideas to improve the sales approach to groups, clubs, and tour operators, positioning Aphrodite Hills as their preferred sport destination.
⁃Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across tennis, padel, football basketball and golf.
⁃Actively search for sponsors and collaborations that support sports programs, events, and facility development.
⁃ Work with Marketing to develop targeted promotions and campaigns.
Customer Experience and Service Excellence
⁃Implement a service approach aligned with company standards.
⁃Establish feedback channels to continually improve programs and services.
⁃Train staff in service delivery, engagement, and sales techniques to elevate guest experience.
Sports Facility Management and Operations
⁃Supervise daily operations of tennis, padel, football, and basketball facilities.
⁃Coordinate with maintenance and grounds teams to ensure facilities are well presented and operating safely.
⁃Oversee programming and scheduling to maximize facility utilization and revenue.
⁃Collaborate with the Hotel F&B department to ensure service around Sports Hub areas remains aligned with resort standards.
Coaching and Program Development
⁃Manage coaching resources, ensuring efficient scheduling and performance monitoring.
⁃Support Tennis and Padel Coaches in developing structured training programs.
⁃Ensure football and basketball partner programs are aligned with commercial and operational objectives.
Tennis Reception, Retail and Guest Experience
⁃Manage the Tennis Reception to ensure smooth guest flow and a consistent service experience.
⁃Coordinate with the centralized Retail Manager regarding product selection, stock levels, and purchasing
Administrative and Financial Management
⁃Manage staff scheduling, timekeeping, and shift coordination for the Sports Hub.
⁃Manage financial transactions, invoicing, and reconciliation in collaboration with the Sports Operations Manager.
⁃Maintain membership records for sports, ensuring accurate data integration with the Golf Manager system.
⁃Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual reports, including forecasts, payroll and performance trends.
Performance Expectations
⁃Maintain accurate financial records and deliver timely reporting.
⁃Improve booking efficiency, facility utilization, and guest satisfaction.
⁃Achieve company standard service benchmarks across all sports operations.
⁃Launch new initiatives that strengthen the sports offering, increase revenue, and enhance the resort’s sports profile.
Requirements and Qualifications:
⁃University degree in Sports Science and Physical Education
⁃At least 3 years of experience in a similar sports management role.
⁃Background in tennis and padel operations or coaching structures.
⁃Experience working with multi-sport facilities.
⁃Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
⁃Ability to work with booking and management systems.
⁃Experience in partnerships, collaborations, or sponsorships.
⁃Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
⁃Eu citizen or an EU work permit holder
Working Schedule:
⁃5 days per week 08:30-17:00(Flexible to company needs)
⁃2 days off per week (Flexible to company needs)
