Role Overview:
The Marketing Manager will lead and support the development, execution, and continuous refinement of marketing and branding strategies across our hospitality portfolio, including hotels, and leisure services.
This role will ensure that each property has a strong, distinctive brand identity and that all marketing initiatives are strategic, guest-focused, and results-driven. The position requires a dynamic leader with proven hotel marketing expertise, a creative vision, and strong commercial acumen
Key Responsibilities:
Branding & Positioning
- Define, implement, and protect the brand identity of the Group of Hotels and Resorts, ensuring consistency and differentiation across hotels, and services.
- Develop long-term brand strategies to position each property competitively in both local and international markets.
- Create compelling storytelling and brand narratives that resonate with target audiences and enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure all marketing materials (digital, print, PR, in-property signage, collateral, etc.) reflect the brand’s personality, tone of voice, and design standards.
- Lead brand refresh or repositioning projects as required by market changes.
Strategic Marketing & Campaign Management
- Develop and execute annual and seasonal marketing plans that align with business objectives and revenue targets.
- Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, PR, events, influencer collaborations, and offline channels.
- Drive marketing initiatives to support key revenue streams: rooms, F&B outlets, events, wellness, and leisure facilities.
- Align marketing activities with sales and revenue management to ensure maximum impact on bookings, occupancy, and ADR (Average Daily Rate).
- Oversee partnerships and sponsorships that enhance visibility and strengthen the hotel brands.
Digital Marketing & Guest Engagement
- Lead digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, PPC, display advertising, content marketing, CRM, loyalty programs, and online reputation management.
- Oversee social media presence and influencer collaborations to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Manage hotel websites and online booking platforms, ensuring optimal user experience and high conversion rates.
- Leverage guest data and CRM tools to personalize marketing and enhance customer loyalty.
Insights, Analytics & Performance
- Define and track KPIs, including ROI on campaigns, brand equity development, digital engagement, guest acquisition and retention, RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), and direct booking growth.
- Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies that improve marketing effectiveness and guest satisfaction.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner closely with Hotel General Managers, F&B Management, and Operations teams to align marketing with guest experience and business goals.
- Manage external vendors, agencies, and creative partners to deliver high-quality campaigns.
Financial Responsibility
- Own and manage the hospitality marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation across properties and campaigns.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on marketing ROI, brand performance, and guest engagement outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field
- Master’s degree or MBA will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive marketing experience with at least 3 years in senior marketing leadership roles within luxury hotels, resorts, or hospitality groups.
- Proven track record in hotel brand development and strategic marketing planning.
- Deep understanding of the hospitality and tourism market (local and international).
- Experience with both luxury and lifestyle brand positioning is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, SEO/SEM, analytics platforms, CRM/loyalty systems).
- Strong knowledge of hotel distribution channels, booking engines, and OTA platforms.
- Exceptional leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong storytelling, and presentation abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal in English. Greek and any other languages will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to combine data-driven insights with creative strategies to achieve measurable business results.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and reporting ROI.
