Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Accounting Manager.
Salary:
- €38,400–42,000 gross per year.
- Performance-based bonus.

Main duties:
- Support the development and delivery of financial and operational plans as a strategic business partner.
- Oversee bookkeeping, transaction posting, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Supervise, train and review the accounting team to maintain accuracy, compliance and efficiency.
- Review and authorise VAT returns, VIES forms and other statutory submissions.
- Prepare and analyse management reports, budgets, forecasts and financial statements.
- Liaise with tax authorities and external stakeholders and advise clients on accounting, VAT and compliance matters.
- Maintain client relationships, monitor project efficiency, ensure timely invoicing and follow up outstanding balances.
- Present financial results and business insights to senior management.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualification and a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- More than 5 years of audit-firm experience, including at least 3 years post-qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of Cyprus accounting standards and regulations.
- Exposure to accounting software such as E-soft or Odoo.
- Strong analytical, organisational and deadline-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team under pressure.
- Excellent Greek and English communication, IT literacy, adaptability and high integrity.
