Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Compliance Officer.
Salary:
- €2,500–3,500 per month.
Employment type:
- Full-time.
Work arrangement:
- Fully on-site in Nicosia.
- Stand-alone compliance role working closely with senior management.
Main duties:
- Develop, implement and continuously improve the organisation's compliance framework.
- Maintain AML, due-diligence, anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Monitor governance and reporting processes and carry out periodic compliance reviews.
- Identify and assess compliance risks, recommend mitigation measures and support control implementation.
- Promote an ethical culture, create awareness programmes and deliver compliance training.
- Monitor Cyprus and international regulatory developments and advise management on their impact.
- Coordinate specialist matters with external legal advisers and support sound corporate-governance practices.
- Maintain registers, reports and regulatory documentation; assist internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Investigate incidents, recommend corrective action and track remediation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or a related field.
- 2–4 years of compliance, legal, regulatory-affairs or risk-management experience.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Professional compliance qualifications and international regulatory experience are advantages.
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday, 09:00–17:45.
- Friday, 09:00–16:30.
