We are partnering with a well-established organisation based in Nicosia and we are currently seeking a Demi Chef De Partie to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the culinary standards of the Food & Beverage Department are consistently maintained in accordance with established standards and policies. Will also be expected to complete daily operational tasks and follow the guidelines provided by the Chef de Cuisine.

Responsibilities

To ensure that culinary standards in all outlets of the Food and Beverage department are met at all times as determined by the F&B standards and policies
To achieve daily tasks required by the operation and guidelines given by the Executive Chef
To guide, motivate, train and manage cooks A’, B’ and C’, trainees and stewarding staff in order to exceed guest expectations
Comply with all Health and Safety rules and regulations
Follow the Grooming Policy, maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and ensure that this is followed and adhered by all team members
Ensure that duties are carried in an honest and ethical way by abiding the Hotels’ rules and regulations and the Cyprus Law
Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Executive Chef

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position at a Hotel
Degree in Culinary Arts or hospitality related qualification, will be considered as an advantage
Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
Pleasant, honest and friendly personality
Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
To be quality driven and critical of all aspects of the food and beverage operation in order to guarantee the highest level of creativity and productivity within the organization
Must be a caring personality that shows empathy and understanding
