We are seeking a results-driven Yield Officer to take ownership of our pricing strategies, inventory allocation, and channel performance.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Yield Data Analyst with a background in engineering, mathematics or quantitative science to drive our yield optimization strategies. Rather than focusing purely on day-to-day operations, this role focuses on deep data analysis, predictive modelling, and margin performance, You will translate complex, multi-dimensional datasets into actionable engineering insights, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify yield loss patterns, build predictive analytics pipelines, and refine yield performance models.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Analysis: Process, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify statistical trends, anomalies, and systematic root causes of yield loss.
- Predictive & Statistical Modeling: Build and deploy predictive yield models, statistical process control (SPC) algorithms, and multivariate analysis pipelines.
- Metric & System Optimization: Design algorithms and metrics to evaluate yield performance, throughput efficiency, and process stability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to translate statistical findings into concrete process improvements.
- Reporting & Visualization: Build interactive data dashboards and operational tools to provide clear visibility into historical performance, variance driver breakdowns, and real-time trends.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical), Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Analytical Background: Strong foundation in probability, applied statistics, optimization theory, and quantitative problem-solving.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling and data manipulation.Strong SQL skills for querying and structuring complex relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Streamlit).
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated capability to diagnose complex, multi-variable engineering or operational challenges using data.
- Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with machine learning methodologies (regression models, decision trees, anomaly detection algorithms).
- Hands-on experience with production systems, manufacturing processes, or supply chain data models.Experience with automated ETL pipelines and cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS Redshift).
Skills & Competencies
- Languages: Professional fluency in English (required). Knowledge of Greek or another European language is considered a strong advantage.
- Analytical Mindset: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data aggregation, pivot tables, forecasting).
- Legal Eligibility: Must hold valid working rights to work in Cyprus/EU.
