Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS and DHCP services.
- Support virtualization platforms and virtual machine environments.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot server and workstation hardware.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers and firewalls.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management and preventive maintenance.
- Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure, network and security-related incidents.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver IT projects.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow IT best practices.
- Travel internationally when required to support business operations and infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Windows 11
- TCP/IP Networking
- DNS & DHCP
- Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware or similar)
- Experience supporting physical servers and desktop hardware
- Understanding of firewall administration, endpoint security and backup solutions
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team
- Must be able to travel internationally at short notice when business needs require
Nice to Have
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Azure or AWS exposure
- PowerShell scripting
- Networking certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA or similar)
- Experience working within international or highly regulated environments
