Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Food Technologist / Bread Expert.

Main duties:
- Monitor product quality through every stage of production and standardise recipes, dough consistency and processes across seven product variants.
- Establish and document a shelf-life testing programme aimed at a consistent five-day ambient shelf life.
- Create pictographic recipe cards and production-floor process guides.
- Define specifications for flour, yeast, enzymes and other key ingredients and support correct sourcing.
- Participate in product trials, new-product development and continuous-improvement work.
- Evaluate raw materials and supplier quality.
- Perform routine quality checks and maintain daily weight logs, batch records and shelf-life results.
- Resolve quality deviations with production teams and provide technical guidance to production staff.
- Maintain HACCP, hygiene and food-safety compliance.
- Prepare export-grade product specifications for the United Kingdom and Middle East.
- Mentor the Production Manager and transfer technical knowledge.
Requirements:
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Cereal Chemistry, Bakery Science, Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related discipline.
- Commercial bakery experience with flatbread, pitta or leavened products.
- Experience in food manufacturing, bakery production or FMCG quality control.
- Deep technical knowledge of flour rheology and shelf life.
- Proficiency in Greek and English.
- Strong communication, teamwork and people-centred leadership skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product consistency.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends and propose corrective action.
- Experience with export specifications, BRC, IFS or FSSC 22000, visual management, production automation, bakery equipment, raw-material evaluation or quality-assurance training is advantageous.
Schedule:
- Five-day week, 09:00–18:00, including a one-hour break.
