Main duties:
- Assist with monitoring product quality throughout production.
- Learn dough-consistency checks, recipe standardisation and basic process optimisation.
- Support the audit and documentation of all product variants.
- Help implement shelf-life tests and work toward a five-day ambient shelf-life target.
- Create pictographic recipe cards and production-process guides.
- Support HACCP, hygiene and food-safety compliance.
- Assist with specifications for flour, yeast, enzymes and improvers.
- Participate in product trials, new recipes and continuous-improvement projects.
- Support raw-material evaluation and supplier-quality assessments.
- Perform routine quality-control checks and keep daily weights, batch records and shelf-life results.
- Work with production teams to identify and resolve quality deviations.
- Support export specifications for the United Kingdom and Middle East and participate in new-product development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Cereal Chemistry, Bakery Science, Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field.
- Strong interest in bakery production, dough science and food manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Greek and English.
- Strong communication and collaborative working style.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to analyse data and follow structured processes.
- Comfort working in a dynamic production environment.
- Relevant experience, food-manufacturing exposure, HACCP knowledge, raw-material evaluation, production automation or knowledge of shelf life, fermentation or flour behaviour is advantageous.
Schedule:
- Five-day week, 09:00–18:00, including a one-hour break.
