- Based in Nicosia, with flexible working arrangements.
Main duties:
- Support the Tax Manager or Supervisor with direct-tax advice and consultation for clients.
- Prepare and review assigned tax memoranda for companies and individuals.
- Assist with preparation and submission of personal and corporate income-tax returns.
- Research local and international tax laws and practice to support present and future compliance.
- Prepare or assist with tax letters, reports and advance rulings for clients and the Cyprus Tax Department.
- Assist with transfer-pricing documentation, benchmarking studies and local-file reports.
- Undertake further related tax work assigned by management.
Requirements:
- University degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field and a sound academic record.
- Three to four years’ relevant experience in an audit firm, tax practice or similar role.
- Excellent organisation and time management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, analyse accurately and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent written and spoken Greek and English.
- Problem-solving ability.
