Avlida Hotel, a 4-star hospitality establishment, is seeking an experienced and creative Part-Time Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality cakes and pastries, ensuring attractive presentation, and maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry section.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and finish cakes, pastries, and desserts to hotel standards
- Decorate cakes professionally with attention to detail and presentation
- Ensure pastry displays are neat, appealing, and well-presented
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment at all times
- Follow hotel food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
- Assist with daily pastry production for hotel operations and events
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef and Cake Decorator
- Strong skills in cake preparation and decoration
- Knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and baking methods
- High standards of cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Valid health certificate is obligatory
