Your Role
As a Houseman, you will play a key role in supporting the housekeeping team, ensuring all areas — from guest rooms to public spaces — remain clean, organized, and inviting. You will assist with heavy cleaning, deliveries, and maintenance tasks, helping the property run smoothly and look its best.
What You’ll Do
- Support housekeeping with deep cleaning, moving furniture, and handling supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in public areas, back-of-house spaces, and service areas.
- Assist with delivery, storage, and distribution of housekeeping supplies and linens.
- Handle minor maintenance or report issues promptly to the appropriate department.
- Work closely with Housekeeping Supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards consistently.
- Support team members during peak periods with flexibility and efficiency.
What We Value
- Previous experience as a Houseman, Porter, or similar role in a hotel, resort, or high-end hospitality environment.
- Practical knowledge of housekeeping support and hotel operations, with a passion for maintaining high standards.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong communication and guest engagement abilities.
- Attention to detail, organization, and a proactive mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods as needed.
