Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Head of Tax.

**Main duties:**
- Lead and expand relationships with major local and international clients, advising senior management and key stakeholders.
- Provide commercial guidance on complex Cyprus and international tax matters, including restructurings, transactions, investments and cross-border planning.
- Direct major advisory engagements, originate opportunities, lead pitches and manage portfolio profitability.
- Lead the tax team, including performance management, coaching, succession planning and retention.
- Provide technical leadership on complex tax issues and significant disputes with the Cyprus Tax Department, maintaining quality and risk standards.
- Work with partners on practice strategy, new services, market opportunities and resource planning.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary work across audit, deals, accounting and international network teams.
- Track Cyprus, EU and international tax developments and represent the practice at professional and industry events.
**Requirements:**
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent professional qualification.
- Substantial senior-level tax experience, preferably in professional services.
- Deep Cyprus tax knowledge and strong corporate and/or international tax experience.
- Proven record in senior client management, business development and engagement with decision-makers.
- Experience leading professional teams, strong commercial judgment, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent written and spoken Greek and English.
