Main duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities for children aged three to four.
- Encourage development through play, creativity and exploration across language, cognitive, social, emotional and physical areas.
- Create a safe, positive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Observe individual progress, respond to each child’s needs and maintain constructive parent relationships.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues on classroom routines and child support.
Requirements:
- Relevant early-years teaching qualification or demonstrated preparation for kindergarten education.
- Caring, enthusiastic and patient approach to young children.
- Strong communication, observation, organisation and teamwork skills.
- Ability to plan developmentally appropriate activities and maintain a safe learning environment.
