Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Mid-Level Accountants.

Main duties:
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records for a portfolio of local and international clients.
- Record and reconcile bank transactions, sales and purchase invoices, expenses and other financial entries.
- Complete bank, supplier, customer and intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit VAT, VIES and OSS returns.
- Assist with payroll calculations and related submissions.
- Prepare accounting schedules and supporting records for annual audits.
- Liaise with auditors, clients, banks and relevant authorities.
- Monitor accounting and tax deadlines and ensure timely filings and deliverables.
- Review financial information, resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance with accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Relevant experience in accounting, audit, fiduciary or professional services.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT and financial reporting.
- Experience managing multiple clients or entities at the same time.
- Excellent written and spoken Greek and English.
- Strong analytical, organisational and time-management skills with close attention to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and take ownership of assigned work.
- Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
