Main duties:
- Develop machine-learning, AI and data-driven models for environmental and climate applications.
- Analyse large environmental, Earth-observation and environmental-health datasets using high-performance computing.
- Advance methods for air-pollution and climate forecasting, impact assessment, downscaling and digital twins.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary research outputs and reusable computational tools.
Requirements:
- PhD in computational or data sciences, physics or another relevant discipline.
- Interdisciplinary expertise in atmospheric physics or chemistry, environmental health, modelling, machine learning or large-scale data analysis.
- Experience with mathematical or computational models, deep learning and high-performance computing.
- Ability to work across research disciplines and communicate complex quantitative findings.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 100% FTE.
- Initial 24-month contract, renewable subject to performance and funding.
