Position: QA Engineer
Location: Limassol or Paphos or Nicosia
On behalf of our client, a growing and innovative affiliate marketing and iGaming company, we are looking to hire a QA Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping maintain high software quality standards across the full development lifecycle, ensuring that applications are thoroughly tested, issues are identified early, and releases are delivered with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality, performance, usability, and security.
- Accurately document test outcomes, identify defects, and communicate findings clearly to the engineering team for resolution.
- Take ownership of quality assurance during release cycles and support sign-off processes before code is deployed to production.
- Contribute to the development of QA strategies, testing plans, and best practices across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Develop and improve automated testing scripts, frameworks, and tools to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process.
- Review existing QA workflows, suggest improvements, and explore new testing approaches to enhance product quality and team effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a QA Engineer or similar software testing role.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools and structured testing processes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, regression testing, and the software defect lifecycle.
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a collaborative environment.
