Main duties:
- Develop Java 18–25 and Spring Boot services for iGaming content management, configuration and player-facing applications.
- Integrate Strapi and related systems for games, providers, categories, promotions and localisation.
- Build integrations with gaming, identity, analytics and notification services.
- Apply SOLID and domain-driven design to services using PostgreSQL or MySQL, JPA, Redis, Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Implement JWT and OAuth controls, key and token handling, digital signatures, encryption and OWASP practices.
- Create automated tests and maintain Maven or Gradle, artifact-repository, CI/CD, Docker and cloud workflows.
- Improve resilience, circuit breakers, monitoring and performance and lead root-cause analysis and refactoring.
- Maintain OpenAPI documentation, review code and mentor engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Between 4 and 8 years of professional Java development with strong Spring expertise.
- Experience with relational databases, caching, message brokers and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of secure API design, automated testing, containerised delivery and observability.
- Experience with a headless CMS, ideally Strapi, and third-party integrations.
- iGaming experience is desirable.
